Back to black...

I'm so sorry to hear of Amy Winehouse's death. Her music was so inspiring and her album 'back to black' helped me through many a heartbreak. Her lyrics spoke to me in way very little songs do. In honor of her, I decided to wear black, to show mourning but to also show tribute to my favourite song on the album. My thoughts are with her friends and family.

Worse still, was the news from Norway. I cannot begin to express my empathy to the people of Norway and anyone effected. I hope justice is served, although nothing will bring all of the innocent people back. I cannot even imagine the terror the victims felt. May they rest in peace.

I think after the events this weekend, It has made me realise how short life is, you never know what is around the corner. Treat every day as your last and you can never hug your loved ones too much.

I'm very sorry for my absence recently. I have be so busy! Inbetween having friends coming to stay with me, I have been catching up with family and redesigning the new blog. Its looking fabulous, but I'll be taking my time with it so I keep catching to you lovely people! It will launch mid-august and I cannot wait!

Jacket- Peacocks.
Dress- Tesco.
Beaded collar- Monsoon.
Bag- Ted Baker.
Sandals- Topshop.

This is a fail-safe outfit. If ever I'm having a fat day, a What-do-I-wear-day, a down day, this just picks me right up. Everything In this outfit cost me less than £10 each, (some due to sales/discount) and it just proves you don't need to spend much to look and feel GREAT!

Lots of love,

Girl about Town XxX

  30. Oh please, I do not see an ounce of fat anywhere on you, you look simply gorgeous to me! :)

And I myself, am really disturbed by Amy Winehouse's death.

I have always felt her music was really different from the norm and would have loved to have heard more from her. It's really a huge loss to the musical world. :(
